Volkswagen’s Tiguan Allspace grabs Wolfsburg treatment

VOLKSWAGEN Australia’s limited run Wolfsburg Editions are coveted by the brand’s devotees. Now, for the first time, its seven seat SUV gets the special treatment, with the Tiguan Allspace Wolfsburg Edition available from June.

Resplendent in signature black styling, unique badging and a range of standard convenience and infotainment technology, the Wolfsburg Allspace is powered by the Golf GTI-derived EA888 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, with 162kW and 350Nm.

It’s mated to a seven-speed DSG and 4MOTION all-wheel drive. This combination accelerates the Allspace Wolfsburg Edition to 100km/h in 6.8 seconds and achieves a combined fuel consumption of 9.0-litres/100km.

Signature Wolfsburg Edition features include black mirrors, roof rails, window surrounds, lower trim strips and front lower grille details. Completing the noir look, the Wolfsburg also comes standard with 90 per cent light absorbing dark window tint.

Additionally, it’s fitted with 20-inch Suzuka alloy wheels in gloss black. At the rear, a newly designed colour variant of the signature Wolfsburg crest, a nod to Volkswagen’s home and global headquarters, stands out.

Wolfsburg Edition Allspace’s are available in a choice of standard Pure White, the metallic Pyrite Silver and Platinum Grey, or pearl effect Deep Black. It adopts the R-Line enhancement package as well.

This adds a digital instrument cluster, Dynaudio premium sound system, area view parking navigation and unique to this Allspace variant, a head-up display. It will be preceded in May by the Tiguan Allspace 132TSI 4MOTION, which returns to showrooms.

All new Volkswagens have a 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty, capped-price servicing every calendar year, and the option to pre-purchase three and five-year service packs.

In addition, it can also be purchased with the Volkswagen Choice guaranteed future value program, offered by Volkswagen Financial Services. Pricing starts from $59,990 (plus on-roads).

It’s available to order online or via dealerships, now. To find out more about the 2021 Tiguan Allspace Wolfsburg Edition, please contact your local Volkswagen dealer.
