Volkswagen is taking SUV value to new heights with the urban-focused, stylish and sporty T-Roc CityLife special edition. Priced from $35,990 plus on-roads, it’s available to order now and arrives from September, in significant numbers.
Featuring a comprehensive and class-leading number of design, technology and convenience inclusions, the T-Roc CityLife utilises a spirited yet efficient 110kW and 250Nm 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine and eight-speed automatic transmission.
For maximum ride comfort, it sports a 17-inch alloy wheel and tyre package ideal for pockmarked city streets, along with exclusive reflector-style LED headlights with VW’s light assist package and a unique black front grille.
Travel assist, incorporating lane assist with adaptive cruise control, front assist, front and rear parking sensors with manoeuvre braking (front and rear autonomous emergency braking), park assist and a rear camera are also standard across the T-Roc range.
The CityLife further maintains keyless access and push-button start, a digital cockpit and an 8.0-inch centre touchscreen infotainment system. It includes DAB+ digital radio and App-Connect as well.
You’ll also find wireless smartphone charging, dual-zone climate control and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters. It exclusively includes Comfort cloth seats with lumbar adjustment, a ceramique headlining and “pewter matte” dashboard inlays.
Should the T-Roc CityLife not be for you, the next step up in the range remains the Style at $37,100 plus on-roads. It features 18-inch alloy wheels, performance LED headlights, sport cloth front seats, chrome roof rails and grille, and driving profile selection.
