Triumph unleashes all new Street Triple RS

SIGNIFICANT engine performance upgrades and more aggressive styling are the highlight of the new 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS, dubbed by the brand as the ultimate performance street bike, and benefitting from its Moto2 campaign.

Designed to set a benchmark in capability and handling, the 2020 Street Triple RS is light, fast, fun, agile and stylish, and is once again a game changer, with its distinctive character and thrilling triple engine.

Starting life with a 675cc triple engine, the new Street Triple RS has evolved to boast an even more exhilarating 765cc motor, which was introduced in the 2017 model range. For 2020, the Moto2 engine team have increased mid-range power and torque.

Matched with a new, refined gearbox, a new freer flowing silencer and more responsive throttle, it’s the perfect bike for the street and the track. Distinctive and striking twin LED headlights with daytime running lights are part of the 2020 styling package as well.

A range of new colors, with more sporty, angular bodywork, adds to the aggressive attitude, while an interchangeable seat cowl and pillion seat with enhanced ergonomics is also available.

Technology upgrades include enhanced TFT functionality, new style display graphics, and the MyTriumph connectivity system, which enables GoPro interaction, turn-by-turn navigation, music and phone operation for the rider.

Triumph shift assist now manages up and down gear changes as well, while the Street Triple RS has five new and improved riding modes, helping manage its incredible power-to-weight ratio, the result of it being the lightest bike in its class.

LAMS licence riders won’t miss out either, with the new learner legal and lightweight Street Triple S updated with the same aggressive attitude, poise and styling as the range topping RS model.

The 2020 Street Triple S adds to its high level of specification and equipment with its 660cc triple engine, and intuitive, agile and easy handling. Its low seat height and LAMS compliant engine delivers 39.7kW and is a great way to enter the motorcycle scene.

Sharing some of the Street Triple RS’s new styling cues also means it wears the same distinctive twin headlights and sporty angular bodywork, as well as new body graphics.

Featuring twin front brakes and a Brembo single rear brake with ABS, the Street Triple S has outstanding stopping power, while high-spec Showa suspension and road focused all-weather Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres handle keeping the bike firmly on the tarmac.

Two riding modes, selectible via the LCD instrument display, are available (road and rain), adjusting throttle response and traction control settings. The high-end features on the LAMS approved bike make it the perfect all-rounder for everyday riding and fun.

The 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS and S were unveiled in the United Kingdom. For local release dates, and pricing, contact your nearest Triumph dealer.
