The next generation of electric motorcycles for kids, from renowned Spanish manufacturer Torrot, are now arriving in Australian dealerships. With a focus on safety and performance, the range is aimed at three to 11-year-old who ride motocross, trials and supermotard.
Torrot’s electric range is designed to progress hand-in-hand with your child’s development through their motorcycling journey. The Kids Series ONE is aimed at children aged between 3-7 years of age, while the Kids Series TWO is the natural next step, aimed at ages 6-11.
Weighing between 28kg and 32kg, with a removeable Lithium-ion battery – with an optional in-car charger – Torrot’s range are perfectly suited to be taken anywhere. All models are fitted standard with Bluetooth connectivity too.
That’s key, because Torrot takes good care of its next generation, so that the first steps of its ‘little ones’ are always safe. It’s all thanks to a ‘Parental Control’ system.
It’s a wireless setup that allows parents to limit, configure and even disconnect their child’s motorcycle remotely from their mobile, through an Android or iOS application.
The app allows the Torrot KIDS electric motorcycle to be controlled with a range of parameters that can be set and adjusted, such as the motor response, for progressive and safe riding.
With no fumes, exhaust noises, or danger of getting burnt on hot exhausts or engines, and the added security of adapting the bike to your child’s riding ability, the Torrot range feels like a no brainer. Even the battery can be removed and charged on a normal power point.
Torrot kids electric motorcycles are distributed exclusively in Australia and New Zealand by Urban Moto Imports (who also distribute Royal Enfield, MV Agusta and Benelli, and are the former distributor of GasGas).
