Suzuki set to kick off 2027 with SV-7GX and SV-7GX+

If you’re looking for a new touring bike, mark your calendar for January 2027. That’s when Suzuki’s new SV-7GX and SV-7GX+ are scheduled to arrive in Australia. The duo will be available in full-power and LAMS-approved variants.

Australian ride-away pricing has been confirmed at $14,990 for both the learner-approved and full power SV-7GX, while the SV-7GX+ variants are $16,490. The SV-7GX has been developed as a versatile crossover motorcycle.

It combines Suzuki’s renowned V-twin engine with modern rider technology, touring practicality and confident ergonomics. Built on the brand’s 645cc powertrain, it blends sporty road performance with everyday comfort and long-distance capability.

New ride-by-wire technology enables a suite of advanced rider aids, including traction control, and a bi-directional quick shifter. The full-power variant adds drive mode selector. The SV-7GX sports a modern crossover design inspired by the GSX-S1000GX.

Its distinctive front cowl, LED lighting signature, adjustable windscreen, and upright riding position create a motorcycle that is both practical and visually striking. It’s built on a lightweight steel trellis frame and features a 41mm telescopic front fork.

You’ll also find adjustable rear suspension and Pirelli Angel GT II sport-touring tyres. A 17.4-litre fuel tank, integrated rear carrier, knuckle covers, and comfortable rider and passenger seating further enhance its touring capability.

A large 4.2-inch full-colour TFT display provides access to essential information and integrates with Suzuki Ride Connect+, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, smartphone notifications, weather updates and ride data through a connected mobile device.

A USB-C charging port adds everyday convenience. Riders who want more touring capability will have the option to upgrade to the SV-7GX+ variant. It adds a fuel tank pad, heated grips, a soft side case set, a side case bracket set and a touring screen.

The SV-7GX and its “plus” sibling will be available in Pearl Brilliant White / Metallic Triton Blue (BQJ) and Glass Sparkle Black (YVB), while the LAMS variants will be offered in Pearl Brilliant White / Metallic Triton Blue (BQJ) and Pearl Matte Greige (Q2A).

Customers can pre-order at the Suzuki Australia website, or by contacting their local dealership.
