Suzuki Australia has taken the wraps off a special limited edition Heritage version of its super popular Jimny compact SUV, celebrating its vibrant 4×4 history from the 70s, 80s and 90s, when hair was long and freedom was everything.
Taking things back to when the Jimny’s cult following first began, the Heritage will be available in manual only, and with a choice of four colours; Jungle Green, Bluish Black, Medium Grey and White.
In addition to the standard features of the GLX, this limited run model adds red front and rear mud flaps, a special Jimny Heritage cargo tray, decals, a build badge and an exclusive add-on pack.
Just 300 examples will be offered for $33,490 plus on-roads, with an extra sting for metallic paint. That said, given the car’s existing popularity, it’s sure to sell out super fast. If you’re keen, you can order online via the register your interest page.
You can also hit up your local dealership. Delivery will be based on the current queue process utilised for all Jimny sales, with the first vehicles to arrive in April of this year. ‘Sold out’ colour announcements will be made via the Suzuki Australia social media channels.
