Suzuki confirms new look Swift for Oz in new year

Following its recent global reveal in both Asia and Europe, Suzuki Australia has confirmed the new Swift hatch is headed down under in 2024. With a fresh design, the popular compact offers enhanced safety and convenience features.

The 2024 model is set to feature an evolved driving experience and improved ride, a new engine and CVT gearbox, and enhanced aerodynamics for better fuel economy. It will also be loaded with the latest Suzuki safety support technology.

Suzuki Australia General Manager – Automobile, Mr. Michael Pachota said the introduction of an all-new Suzuki Swift cements its strong brand legacy and trusted nameplate.

“With its rich heritage of performance, reliability, and style, the Swift has consistently set benchmarks in the automotive industry,” Suzuki Australia GM of automobile, Michael Pachota said.

“As we introduce the latest model, we’ll proudly carry forward the legacy of its nameplate which symbolizes fun, innovation, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional driving experience.”

With the current version of the Swift dating all the way back to 2021, the new model is sure to be in demand. A full list of features and final local specs, as well as its official launch date here in Australia will all be revealed in the coming months.
