Suzuki announces new Swift Sport and Ignis updates for Oz

THE upgraded and updated 2020 Suzuki Swift Sport Series II hot hatch and Ignis Series II compact SUV are headed down under, with Suzuki Australia confirming both vehicles will go on sale in May.

Key changes across both ranges include blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and heated door mirrors for enhanced safety. In the case of the Swift Sport Series II, a new digital speedo, and new colour scheme are at the core of the upgrades.

A new eye-catching orange/black two-tone colour joins the range. The existing engine configuration remains unchanged.

For the Ignis, there’s plenty of tweaks, including a newly designed front bumper, rear bumper and front grille, for an updated look that is sure to get noticed. Other welcome additions include a revised interior accent and refreshed external colour options.

The new Suzuki Ignis colour range includes Ivory, Khaki, and Black (all new), and existing colours of Red, Grey and White. The Ignis range will continue to include two variants, in the GL and GLX. The engine configuration remains unchanged.

Both the Ignis Series II and Swift Sport II will be available for purchase in May, with pricing yet to be confirmed. Further information is available from the Suzuki Australia website.

Mick is a car fanatic, with petrol pumping through his veins. With a deep love for cars, and what makes them tick, Mick likes things that go fast, very fast. But he also appreciates a Sunday cruise in the Rolls...... who are we kidding, he'd drive the wheels off that too.
