Subaru opens pre-orders on 2024 BRZ range

Subaru has confirmed pricing and specs for its six variant 2024 BRZ range ahead of its arrival down under in January. Among the offerings is the new tS, a performance-honed variant offering the best performance and handling capability yet seen in the model.

The BRZ tS, which will be offered in both manual and automatic transmissions, features STI tuned front and rear suspension dampers to maximize its light weight, ultra-low centre of gravity and precision handling.

High performance Brembo brakes include gold painted 4-piston front callipers and 2-piston rears, and larger pads and rotors for enhanced stopping power and pedal feel. It also sports bespoke 18-inch dark grey metallic alloy wheels.

These ride on 215/40 R18 Michelin Pilot 4 tyres, providing superior grip. External styling updates include front and rear tS badging and a seamlessly integrated red BRZ logo in the front headlights.

Additionally, Crystal Black Silica door mirrors and a shark fin antenna accentuate the sleek profile. Inside, the BRZ tS features Bordeaux and black Ultrasuede and leather accented trim, complete with STI embossed front seats.

The cabin also features an STI red push start button and an exclusive instrument cluster bearing the STI logo and Bordeaux highlights. Like the rest of the range, it will be available in Crystal White Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, Ignition Red, and WR Blue Pearl.

Buyers can also opt for Sapphire Blue Pearl, Magnetite Grey Metallic, and Crystal Black Silica. The 2024 range will also feature Subaru’s EyeSight driver assist technology in the stick shift variants for the first time.

The package adds key safety features to manual transmission models, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane sway warning, lead vehicle start alert, pre-collision braking and brake assist, and brake light recognition.

All three variants will be available in 6-speed manual or auto transmission, with the Coupe offered at $43,790 and $44,790 respectively. The Coupe S is $45,090 and $46,090 for the manual and auto, while the tS is $48,690 and $49,690. All prices are plus on-roads.

Every 2024 Subaru BRZ comes with a 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty and 12 months roadside assist. It’s available to pre-order via the Subaru Australia website, or through your local dealership. If you’re keen on one and need finance, talk to CreditOne.
