Sold Out: the 2020 Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 Limited Edition

WE’VE broken your heart with that headline. It’s true. All 25 examples of the 2020 Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 Limited Edition that were headed for Australia are gone. Snapped up by eager buyers in just a few short hours following its overseas launch.

Representing the first ever official Moto2 Dorna Sports licenced motorcycle and individually numbered, the new Daytona is probably the closest thing to a Moto2 race bike for the road.

Designed by the same expert team that developed the Triumph Moto2 engine, the Daytona Moto2 765 Limited Edition features a new unique Moto2-derived triple engine, with unbelievable specs.

It’s a power plant that delivers Triumph’s highest ever power and torque from a production 765, with peak power of 130PS and torque of 80Nm. Think of it as race-bred power and performance for the road.

Featuring a beautiful race inspired custom exhaust system, a new gearbox, and Pirelli’s latest generation highest performance road tyres (Diablo Supercorsa SP), the Triumph offers an impressive package.

It’s all matched to high specification race-proven adjustable Ohlins front and rear suspension, and Brembo Superbike spec Stylemo brakes, with an MCS radial master cylinder.

Designed for maximum agility, weight has been reduced in the bikes main frame and swing arm, with new lightweight full fibre carbon bodywork and the lightest wheels in class.

The new Daytona 765 is even painted with race developed anti-slip high gloss black paint, demonstrating just how evident this bike’s true race pedigree really is.

A pure single seat setup, the 2020 Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 Limited Edition also features full color TFT instruments, including a laptimer, five riding modes, and Triumph’s shift assist.

So fast was the response to the Daytona Moto2 765 Limited Edition after its launch, Triumph Australia didn’t even have a have a chance to announce pricing to the public. If you’ve bought one though, we’d love to hear from you.
