THE Sherco EB16 Factory is the latest electric balance bike to join the ranks of the company’s successful EB12 and EB16 models, with the newest member of their model line-up offering a host of additional features.
Less than a year after Sherco Australia launched the EB12 and EB16 electric balance bikes, the EB16 Factory now provides a higher-spec alternative, with a more powerful brushless motor (when compared to the EB16).
The EB16 Factory also features a rear disc brake, front suspension and styling updates, while still nurturing the fundamentals of motorcycling such as hand-eye coordination, balance and alertness.
The full list of additional features for the EB16 Factory include a 24V 250W brushless motor that boasts a top speed of 24km/h and increased acceleration, along with three speed mode settings, better suspension and a rear disc brake.
Higher handlebars ensure not only better rider comfort but improved rider control as well. Aesthetically, the Sherco Factory model receives blue rims with a more aggressive tread pattern, and an anodised blue handlebar and seat clamp.
New grips and brake lever also feature, as well as updated Sherco Factory decals. Of course, the EB16 Factory continues the fun, silent and environmentally friendly profile of its siblings, as well as a simple twist-and-go throttle.
It has a running time of up to 60 minutes and the option of a non-powered mode for kids to push, balance and coast before activating the brushless motor. The EB16 Factory is supplied with an Australian 240V household charger, owner’s manual and toolkit.
It has a 12-month parts-only warranty, and retails for $999. It’s available now at all Sherco dealers. For more information on the EB16 Factory, contact your local retailer.
