The sharp-looking Renault Koleos Black Edition is joining the popular SUV range for 2022, sitting between the Zen and Intens 4×2, and offering a suite of add-ons that includes 19-inch dark-grey alloys, and gloss black roof rails and door mirrors.
“The Koleos Black Edition marks a design highlight in the wider range,” Renault Australia general manager Glen Sealey said.
“While SUVs are, by far, the most popular vehicle choice for families, that doesn’t mean you have to leave style out of the buying process. We feel the Black Edition allows for style and practicality in one compelling package.”
In addition to the Zen variant’s already healthy equipment list, the Black Edition gains sidesteps, ‘Limited’ badging, French flags on the B-pillar, a hands-free powered tailgate and a choice of metallic paint colours including Black (naturally), Grey, or Universal White.
Interior features include black leatherette upholstery with yellow stitching, a matte carbon-look interior trim, 8.7-inch central touchscreen in portrait format and ‘Limited’ badging on the chrome door sills.
The Koleos Black Edition is strictly limited to 400 units and is currently available at a stunning national drive-away price of $42,000.
Other changes to the 2022 Koleos range see the new Easy Life package become available for the Zen variant. This pack includes a hands-free powered tailgate and the new touchscreen, and is available for $2,000.
All 2022 Renault Koleos models are powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine, paired to a CVT gearbox. With the exception of the range-topping Intens 4×4 ($46,390 plus on-roads), all variants are 4×2 front-wheel drive.
The full Koleos range starts at $33,590 plus on-roads for the Life variant, with the Zen at $37,990 plus on-roads. The Intens 4×2 is $43,890 plus on-roads. Further information is available from your local Renault dealership.
