Rjays Pace Airflow Ladies Jacket (product review)

The Rjays Pace Airflow is a versatile ladies motorcycle jacket, designed for everyday riding and packed with features. It’s not only comfortable and stylish, but has heaps of safety goodness too.

Don’t be fooled by the abundance of mesh on the front and back, which allows for great airflow (as the name suggests) in the hotter summer months, it also comes complete with a removeable thermal liner to ensure you can wear it all year round.

The outer shell is constructed from Nylon T20 and abrasion resistant mesh. This ensures good protective coverage should the worst occur. There is also CE Level 2 armour in the shoulders and elbows for added protection.

Fit is important, and we found it to be spot on in the Pace Airflow, with all the armour in the right spots. There’s a foam rubber back pad for added piece of mind as well. Rjays tell us the removable thermal liner is waterproof too.

We’ll have to take their word for it though as we didn’t get caught in any rain during our testing period. Other notable features include multiple adjusters so you can tailor the fit of the jacket to suit your requirements, and soft touch materials around the collars.

There are two external and three internal pockets as well, including a phone holder, which equates to a good amount of storage. There is also a waist connection zip for pants, should you want to purchase the matching item.

Strategically placed stretch panels for comfort and manoeuvrability further enhance this jacket, and the pink, grey and black colour scheme looks smart and is aesthetically pleasing. The reflective print allows for increased low light visibility for the rider too.

The Rjays Pace Airflow ladies jacket is available at all good motorcycle accessory retailers and sells for a recommended retail price of $299.95. If you shop around you might be able to find yourself a good deal.

Pros – budget friendly; good all round ladies motorcycle jacket.

Cons – only comes in one style/colour.
