Revealed: Subaru confirms WRX tS B Spec for Australia

Subaru Australia is set to elevate the WRX experience with the introduction of a brand new variant, the AWD tS Spec B, which will join the model line-up in 2025. Designed to captivate both driving purists and enthusiasts, it will sport a 6-speed manual transmission.

While full specifications will be revealed soon, the WRX AWD tS Spec B already stands out with a host of unique features. These include 19-inch matte grey alloy wheels, Brembo brakes with ventilated brake discs, and Recaro front seats.

A striking large rear wing spoiler further amplifies its aggressive stance, making a bold statement even before it hits the road. It’s powered by Subaru’s renowned 2.4-litre turbocharged Boxer engine and symmetrical all-wheel drive.

The combination delivers the WRX’s signature handling and power, grip and precision. Optional STI performance mufflers (fitted to the car shown in the picture) are also set to be offered.

The prototype of the B Spec is set to make its first appearance at today and tomorrow’s Repco Supercars Championship round – the Thrifty Sydney 500. Subaru is the official race control and course car partner for Australia’s main motorsport series.

“We’re excited to introduce the WRX AWD tS Spec B to the model range in 2025. This is just the first glimpse of what’s to come, and we look forward to sharing more details soon,” Subaru Australia GM Scott Lawrence said.

Australians eager to be among the first to experience the WRX AWD tS Spec B can register their interest at www.subaru.com.au/register-your-interest/wrx-ts-spec-b.
