Renault Koleos Iconic Edition arrives down under

A new level of European luxury is set to arrive in the mid-sized SUV segment thanks to Renault’s new Koleos Iconic Edition. Just 400 examples of the new model will be available, with the option of 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains.

The new variant offers grey or black Nappa leather upholstery, metallic paint, and unique 19-inch wheels, side steps and floor mats. Iconic and French flag badging also features, along with a whole host of tech and comfort upgrades.

The list includes heated and ventilated electric front seats with memory adjustment and a massage function for the driver, a panoramic opening sunroof, an 8.7-inch portrait central touchscreen with satellite navigation, and two front and two rear USB ports.

A powered hands-free tailgate, rear air vents, dusk-sensing headlights with automatic high/low beam and easy park assist hands-free parking system are also included. The new Iconic Edition is priced from $48,990 drive away for the 2WD variant.

Buyers keen for the AWD version will need to part with $51,490 drive away, with both models getting Renault’s “easy life” ownership package that includes a 5-year warranty, 5-years roadside assist and 5-years capped price servicing.

Renault’s Koleos Iconic Edition grabs its get up and go from a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine which generates 126kW of power and 226Nm of torque, delivered via an X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission.
