Japanese car maker Nissan has launched an updated Y62 Patrol for 2025, in the process apparently confirming it’s leaving existing owners waiting a little longer for the next-generation Y63.
The majority of the 2025 Patrol updates have been focused on the interior, which features two new interior colour schemes, in either minimalist black leather or a premium-feeling chestnut palette, complete with woodgrain highlights and quilted seats.
Also new is the complete changeover of the Patrol’s cabin technology, with the new model scoring a premium 12.3-inch central touchscreen, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as built-in navigation.
Wireless charging and a new 7.0-inch TFT driver dash display complete the updates, with the latter part of a fully customisable digital binnacle. The new screen also doubles as the display for a ne off-road monitor.
While that’s all standard equipment on the entry level Patrol Ti, the flagship Ti-L adds a premium 13-speaker BOSE stereo, a centre console cool box, and a digital high-definition intelligent rear view mirror.

These upgrades join the Patrol’s proven and potent powertrain, which is headlined by a 5.6-litre V8 petrol engine, producing 298kW and 560Nm. A 7-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and adaptive shift control also features.
It’s joined by Nissan’s intelligent 4WD platform, with electronic 4WD selection. A streamlined exterior colour palette also sees the striking Desert Red Metallic hue join Gun Metallic, Moonstone White, Brilliant Silver and Black Obsidian.
The Patrol Warrior by Premcar also benefits, receiving the same cabin updates, while also now featuring black side steps as part of 2025 improvements. All Patrol grades are backed by a 10-year or 300,000km warranty when serviced with Nissan.
