Nissan launches N-Trek X-Trail variant

Nissan’s family SUV is taking a further step into the wild with the introduction of the N-Trek variant. Built on the ST-L grade, the new addition to the X-Trail range features design cues which generate a sense of no-nonsense robustness.

From the front, the dark finish of the Nissan V-motion grille, which surrounds the central grille, kicks off a look that includes protective lower side bumper panels in gunmetal, at the front and rear, and a new front lower bumper design.

The door mirrors, door handles and roof rails have been blacked out. New LED foglamps have been integrated into the lower section of the front bumper. Adding further to the exterior is a unique 18-inch alloy wheel design exclusive to the N-trek trim on X-Trail.

Paint options for the X-Trail N-Trek include Gun Metallic, Champagne Silver, Ivory Pearl, Diamond Black and Ceramic Grey, while Ivory Pearl, Champagne Silver and Ceramic Grey can also be had in two-tone configurations, each with a black roof.

Inside, a new synthetic leather design with water-resistant qualities has been introduced. It’s complemented by a number of key tech inclusions, starting with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.8-inch head-up display.

Explaining the X-Trail N-Trek, Arnaud Charpentier, Vice President Product Marketing Strategy and Mobility, Nissan Europe, Middle East, Africa, India & Oceania, said:

“We started the development of the X-Trail N-Trek with the simple motto: Let’s Get Dirty. It captures the spirit of a core group of X-Trail customers who embrace adventure, the outdoors and want to use their vehicle to enjoy time and adventures together,” VP of product marketing strategy and mobility Arnaud Charpentier said.

“The X-Trail N-Trek has been designed for them. It has a striking look thanks to unique N-Trek design details, as well as its new water-resistant interior and appealing two-tone paint options. They all combine to make a compelling formula.”

The 2024 Nissan X-Trail N-Trek is available in Australia in 5-seat or 7-seat configurations, in both 2WD and 4WD. The new variants kick off at $47,290 and range up to $50,390 – with all prices plus on-roads.
