Nissan introduces Navara N-TREK special edition

RENOWNED for special edition versions of various models, Nissan is at it again, with the introduction of the Nissan Navara N-TREK; a new range topping variant based on the dual cab 4X4 ST-X.

The new version of the Navara includes a range of black Nissan genuine parts and accessories as standard equipment, plus a number of interior enhancements, and unlike the Silverline and Black Edition, is a permanent offering.

With the Navara N-TREK available in both manual and automatic transmissions, it includes the following exterior features (all of which are black); 18-inch alloy wheels, fender flares, alloy sports bar, and lower body side decals.

The list continues with LED headlamp bezels, side steps, lower front fascia and mirror caps, all with an orange accent line, a black rear bumper, front grille, fog lamp surrounds, roof rails and door handles.

There’s also an N-TREK tailgate badge, while inside, a refreshed interior includes leather accented seats with with orange fabric seat inserts, and orange accent stitching on the seats, centre console, front door armrests and steering wheel.

The front seats are heated and the driver’s seat is power adjustable with power lumber. And as part of the Navara Series 4 updates, the Navara N-TREK also features the new Alliance In-Vehicle Infotainment (AIVI) system.

Navara fans will find a larger 8.0-inch colour touchscreen with a redesigned user interface and menu, and the inclusion of Bluetooth, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto device mirroring – the latter two when connected via USB cable.

Priced from $56,450 plus on-roads for the 6-speed manual and $58,950 plus on-roads for the more popular auto alternative, the Nissan Navara N-TREK is available in three contemporary colours including Cosmic Black, Slate Grey and White Diamond.

The Nissan Navara N-TREK dual cab 4X4 features Nissan’s 2.3-litre intercooled twin-turbo diesel engine that outputs 140kW of power and 450Nm of torque. It also has a 3,500kg braked towing capacity.

On the safety front, the Navara N-TREK includes a reverse camera, reversing sensors, the 360 degree around vie monitor, seven airbags, vehicle dynamic control with a brake LSD, active brake limited slip, and brake assist.

It also has hill start assist, hill decent control, an electronic rear differential lock, privacy glass and LED headlights.

You’ll also get dual zone climate control air conditioning, Intelligent Key with remote keyless entry, push button start and satellite navigation, all with a 5-star ANCAP safety rating, and a 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty.
