LDV is set to expand its strong sales growth in recent months even further with the arrival of the new G10+ van. It lands at a time when the Chinese car maker is on the up in a big way, having delivered 7,184 units up to June, against 3,163 last year.
The G10+ brings additional refinements to LDV’s light commercial offering, continuing to ensure it remains a competitive and value-packed member of the brand’s vehicle stable, with the addition of a 2.0-litre 118kW diesel engine.
Also found in the T60 Trailrider, the new motor in the G10+ now sips just 8.2-litres/100km on a combined cycle. A new 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox on both the new diesel and existing petrol model adds paddle shifters too.
This will help improve and refine the drive experience thanks to smoother gear shifts. Inside, the dashboard and ergonomics have been updated with a new rotary gear selector, new material finishes, and improved NVH levels.
It all makes for a more relaxed drive experience. The G10+ is built tough, with a 5.2m3 cargo area and a payload of 1093kg. Access is easy, with two sliding doors as standard, plus a rear lift tailgate which provides protection from the weather when loading.
There is also the option of rear barn doors on diesel models. The G10+ has multiple load tie-down points on the floor and the wheel arches, and there is tough floor covering throughout to protect both the vehicle and your cargo.
And to make sure you are never left in the dark, there are four lights in the load area along with an integrated step on both sides. The G10+ van is on sale now, and is an upgrade to the regular G10, a stalwart of the light commercial sector.
