Mitsubishi confirms beefed up Triton Raider

Mitsubishi has confirmed the introduction of a new 2026 Triton Raider, developed in conjunction with renowned Australian engineering and manufacturing firm Premcar. It’s based on the GSR Dual Cab.

Set to arrive in dealerships next month, alongside the rest of the updated Triton range, the Raider features a unique front and rear suspension damper package, with the former utilising an internal rebound spring to maximise suspension control.

A unique front spring and jounce bumper (bump stop) has also been deployed. The result is improved wheel control on a wide variety of surfaces. Bridgestone AT002 all-terrain tyres, matched to a heavier-duty ROH Assault 18-inch alloy wheel complete the ride package.

These wheels are finished in a distinctive Brushed Bronze with specific Raider hub caps. Front ride height is increased 25mm, with the rear up 15mm. Front and rear tracks have also increased by 20mm total.

The Yamaha performance damper system which debuts in the 2026 Triton GSR is also retained. This horizontally-mounted damper connects to the chassis to further enhance NVH performance.

Brushed Bronze is adopted to colour the ‘Sandstorm’ side decals, with Raider badging applied to the rear tailgate badge. Other changes include a Dark Warm Grey front garnish, upgraded side protection bars and sports bar, with the addition of unique red inserts.

The strengthened underbody protection is also finished in red, with Raider identifying lettering, while the chrome front emblem contrasts with the black grille and under garnish. It will be offered in four colours: White Diamond, Black Mica, Blade Silver and Graphite Grey.

Inside, the Triton Raider enjoys all the key equipment found in the top-spec GSR. The black leather seats feature orange stitching, with the addition of Raider-branded front headrests and a further badge fitted to the centre console.

Pricing is yet to be confirmed, but the entire Triton range is backed by Mitsubishi’s 10/10/10 Diamond Advantage package, that includes a 10-year or 200,000km warranty, 10-years capped price servicing and the same period of roadside assistance.
