MINI launches new Sterling Edition Countryman

MINI has paid tribute to its British heritage with the launch of the new MINI Countryman Sterling Edition, a bespoke limited run model of just 50 vehicles, created exclusively for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Priced from $62,900 drive away, the limited edition variant has the much loved comfort, resilience and outstanding performance of the Countryman, complete with a luxurious and sophisticated design that salutes MINI’s British origins.

The vehicle features an elegant styling package both inside and out, along with improved technology, including a large screen navigation system with real time traffic information, MINI connect services and Apple CarPlay.

Suzuki V-STROM 800DE

Under the hood is a sporty 2.0-litre 4-cylinder, pushing out a healthy 141kW and 280Nm. MINI claims a 6.6-litres/100km combined fuel consumption, and the Sterling Edition can zip from 0-100km/h is just 7.5 seconds.

It comes with a unique paint scheme; White Silver Metallic, with roof and exterior mirrors in jet black, carbon black seating and a host of ‘MINI yours’ accessories. These include badging on the rear glass house and floor mats.

The special model also scores an illuminated interior surface in piano black, panoramic electric sunroof, and exclusive Sterling badging marking each vehicle as a limited edition located on the passenger side dash surface.

It rides on 19-inch MINI yours Britt spoke alloy wheels with union jack design, and has bonnet stripes in melting silver. Further information is available from your nearest MINI dealer. A total of 40 cars are available in Australia, and 10 in New Zealand.
