MINI launches Blackheath Edition Countryman

YOU know what they say, once you’ve had black you never go back. Well now MINI has a limited Blackheath Edition of its popular Countryman model, that is loaded with black themed accessories.

The comfortable, spacious interior of the Blackheath Edition follows the brooding Midnight Black exterior theme, with seats trimmed in soft ‘Leather Cross Punch’ upholstery finished in Carbon Black and a swathe of Piano Black surfaces throughout the cabin.

The Anthracite headliner adds a further touch of class, while there are some interior elements in chrome to offset the dark look. It comes standard with the Climate Package and Multimedia Pro Package.

This brings on board a panorama sunroof, tinted privacy glass and heated front seats, the latest Navigation Pro system with 8.8-inch touchscreen, 12-speaker harman/kardon premium sound, HUD, and the MINI Find Mate system with two Bluetooth remote tags.

“Blackheath speaks directly to MINI’s United Kingdom heritage,” said MINI Australia General Manager, Brett Waudby.

“With a striking yet sinister appearance, the Countryman Blackheath Edition really stands out on the road,” he said.

The MINI Countryman Blackheath Edition is priced at $59,990 drive away, and limited to just 60 vehicles. MINI has a whole swag of information, including a virtual flyover of this model, on its website.
