MG gives ZST SUV new Core and Vibe variants

MG Motor’s award-winning small SUV is now even better value, thanks to the introduction of two new variants to the popular ZST range, with the addition of the Core and Vibe variants. The duo provides customers a more affordable entry point.

With driver and occupant safety top of mind, the new MG ZST Core and Vibe are also equipped with the brand’s driver safety technology system, MG Pilot, which includes ten electronic safety systems that actively work to avoid accidents before they happen.

Coupled with MG Motor’s standard 7-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, the new variants offer compelling value, and expand the range to four models, alongside the Excite and Essence, launched late last year.

Notably, the exclusive front grille sports a slick black high-gloss finish, with the detailing further extended across other exterior elements of the vehicle including mirror covers, side sill inserts and fog light surrounds (available for Vibe only).

Inside, the two variants offer occupants the same superior shoulder, hip and headroom throughout the cabin as their top-end counterparts. Premium soft-touch materials feature throughout the cabin, including a leather wrapped perforated steering wheel.

Interior trim offers contrast stitching, with comfortable fabric seating, front centre armrest and two rear ISOFIX attachment points. The MG ZST Core and Vibe both boast keyless entry and push-button start.

Passengers can easily connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through its 10.1-inch touch screen infotainment system. Both the Core and the Vibe are powered by MG’s trusted 1.5-litre, 84kW/150Nm direct-injection four-cylinder petrol engine.

It’s paired to a continuously variable transmission driving the front wheels.

The two new variants join an expanding MG range that includes the popular MG3 city hatchback, ZS EV, and the premium mid-sized MG HS, which now sports two new variants in the AWD and Plug-In Hybrid.

The MG ZST Core and Vibe are available to order now, with the Core priced at $25,490 (drive away) and Vibe coming in at $26,990 (drive away). For further information, please contact your local MG Motor dealer.

Mick is a car fanatic, with petrol pumping through his veins. With a deep love for cars, and what makes them tick, Mick likes things that go fast, very fast. But he also appreciates a Sunday cruise in the Rolls...... who are we kidding, he'd drive the wheels off that too.
