MG’s 10-year warranty now requires buyers to have their vehicle serviced at one of its national dealerships, with the Chinese car maker also confirming its new U9 ute will miss out on the decade-long offer. On a positive note, they’ve frozen prices for winter.
From 1 July 2025, all newly registered MG vehicles (registered for personal use) will be covered by up to 10-years or 250,000km of warrant, provided all scheduled servicing is completed at an authorised MG dealership.
Commercial customers will benefit from a 7-year or 160,000km warranty. The exception is the MGU9 ute, which will be backed by a 7-year or 200,000km warranty, with businesses offered just 5-years or 160,000km of coverage.
Alongside the new warranty setup, MG has frozen or cut pricing across a number of its vehicles. For its hybrid and super hybrid ranges, new drive away pricing kicks in from 1 July, and includes the MG3 and ZS Hybrid+ and the HS Super Hybrid.
For example, the MG4 EV XPower drops to $49,990 – a saving of $6,000 – before on-road costs. For customers pre-ordering the HS Super Hybrid, a new financial year intro offer sees the Excite priced at $50,990 and the Essence at $54,990 – both drive away.

MG’s ZS Hybrid+ SUV keeps its $32,990 drive away price for the Excite, and $34,990 drive away price for the Essence. The car maker’s new 7-seat petrol powered SUV, the QS, will hit the road at $46,990 for the Excite and $50,990 for the all-wheel drive Essence.
Both the QS prices are again, drive away. To find out more, talk to your local dealership, or visit mgmotor.com.au
