Mercedes-AMG to farewell popular variants with final editions

As Mercedes-AMG prepares to usher in a new generation of performance models utilising highly efficient powerplants inspired by Formula 1 technology, several much-loved variants will receive a distinctive final flourish.

Popular Mercedes-AMG models, including the C 63 S Coupé and Cabriolet, and E 63 S sedan will score an appearance and equipment makeover via unique Final Edition packages, which will go on sale from local AMG Performance Centres from February 1.

For example, the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Cabriolet has been made even more eye-catching with paintwork in MANUFAKTUR Graphite Grey magno, along with special yellow and dark grey decals.

This sharp appearance is complemented by the Exterior Carbon Package and distinctive cross-spoke alloy wheels, which come in a 19-inch size on the front and 20-inch in the rear. Performance also receives a boost courtesy of an AMG ceramic front braking system.

Inside, AMG Performance front seats and steering wheel form a purposeful combo, with the seats finished in a combination of Nappa grey and black with yellow stitching. The cabin is finished in dark aluminium and matte carbon-fibre.

A Final Edition badge on the centre console adds to the exclusivity of this strictly limited final model. The Final Edition package for the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Cabriolet is priced at $26,400, in addition to the standard vehicle pricing of $212,600 plus on-roads.

The sporty Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupé, a favourite of the team here at Exhaust Notes Australia, receives the same outstanding appointments as the C 63 S Cabriolet, and further adds the AMG Aerodynamics Package.

An additional Final Edition badge is located externally on the C-pillar. The Final Edition package for the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupé is priced at $28,400, in addition to the standard vehicle pricing of $190,000 plus on-roads.

The Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ Sedan Final Edition is also distinguished by MANUFAKTUR Graphite Grey magno paintwork, decals on the side skirts, the Exterior Carbon Package, and 20-inch AMG cross-spoke alloy wheels.

Performance-wise, an AMG ceramic braking system and MULTIBEAM LED headlights are included. The interior also makes a strong statement with AMG Performance front seats finished in Nappa grey or black with yellow stitching.

An AMG Performance steering wheel is finished in leather and DINAMICA. Carbon trim throughout the cabin further highlights the outstanding performance potential of the E 63 S.

The driver will also enjoy the Driving Assistance Package and an MBUX augmented reality overlay for the navigation system. This outstanding package is completed by an AMG emblem on the external C-pillar, and a Final Edition badge on the centre console.

The Final Edition package for the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ Sedan is priced at $39,900, in addition to the standard vehicle pricing of $272,000 plus on-roads. A highly limited number of these vehicles will be bought Australia.
