Mercedes adds entry level GLC to range

A NEW entry level model has been added to the Mercedes-Benz GLC range, with the introduction of the GLC 200 SUV; powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.

The new model, which is priced from $61,990 plus on-roads, pushes out 135kW of power and 300Nm of torque through a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission, and is fitted with full-time rear-wheel-drive and a long list of standard appointments.

This includes Parking Pilot with a 360-degree camera, an EASY PACK tailgate, Audio 20 entertainment system with seven-inch colour display and touchpad control, satellite navigation system, digital radio, and a media interface with smartphone integration.
