Limited edition Focus RS on its way

A BATCH of 500 Ford Focus RS Limited Edition models are on their way to Australia, packed with features and upgrades that include a Quaife limited-slip front differential and 19-inch forged alloy wheels.

Sporting 253/35R19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres as standard, the limited edition Focus RS also comes with autonomous emergency braking, Recaro shell seats with exclusive Nitrous blue leather, Nitrous prestige paint, and rear hatch-mounted spoiler, mirror caps and roof, finished in Absolute Black.

“Ford’s performance models are an important part of our line-up, and we’re excited to offer Australians an even more capable version of the Focus RS, which has struck a chord with driving enthusiasts across the country,” said Ford President and CEO Graeme Whickman. “The RS Limited Edition is a result of enthusiast customer feedback which helped us create the hottest RS yet.”

Buyers will also score privacy glass, voice-activated SatNav, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a class-leading 8.0-inch full-colour touchscreen. There is not a single option available to add on the fully-equipped Focus RS Limited Edition, reflecting its hard-core enthusiast raison d’être.

The Ford Focus RS Limited Edition builds on the success of the current-spec Focus RS and will go on sale in November 2017, with a manufacturer’s list price of $56,990.
