IT’S recognised as the natural and potent successor to the much missed Liberty GT wagon and it has been very much anticipated for some time. But now the wait is over, and the Subaru Levorg has been launched.
The turbocharged all-wheel-drive sports wagon offers style, substance and sophistication, along with a seriously health dose of performance from the 197kW 2 litre direct injection engine and sporty Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), with Subaru Intelligent (SI) Drive.
Packed with safety features, the Levorg includes EyeSight, and a range of Vision Assist Features (range-topping variant), all bundled into a spacious wagon package offering multiple configurations to suit every lifestyle.
A punchy optional GT-S Spec B adds a wide range of locally fitted STi parts and accessories to the 2.0GT-S (the base model is the GT), including STi shift knob, spoilers, 18-inch black allow wheels and front tower bar.
The Levorg 2.0GT-S and 2.0GT-S Spec B are available with a choice of interior leather trim colour – Black or Bright Pearl, both with blue stitching. Levorg is priced from $42,990 for the 2.0GT, $48,890 for the 2.0GT-S, and $52,890 for the 2.0GT-S Spec B (plus on-roads of course).
Levorg has the same external width as fifth generation Liberty and is Subaru’s first all-new model since BRZ launched in 2012.
