Lexus brings Encore Platinum benefits to RX Crafted editions

Lexus has introduced two special Crafted editions of its RX large luxury SUV, featuring a complimentary upgrade to the Encore Platinum owner benefits program. A range of exterior and interior enhancements distinguish these new variants from the rest of the RX range.

The five-seat RX Crafted Edition models build on the Luxury versions of the 175kW 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder RX 300 and the 221kW 3.5-litre V6 RX 350, with both new variants adopting dark treatments for the inner grille, bumper and mirror caps.

Riding on unique 20-inch sputtered alloy wheels with F Sport wheel caps, the RX 350 Crafted Edition also gains a sunroof. For the RX 300 offering there’s also heated and ventilated front seats, easy access driver’s seat with return, and driver memory seat.

The feature list is further augmented with a head-up display and courtesy lamp. Plush leather-accented upholstery is finished in two-tone Black with White Ash, while black open-pore walnut-look ornamentation is applied to the centre console, doors and steering wheel.

A three-year subscription to Lexus Encore Platinum, which can be accessed via the Lexus app, includes Lexus On Demand, where customers have the privilege of borrowing another Lexus up to four times, and for up to eight days at a time.

This gives customers access to the brand’s entire fleet, including the ability to drive an LC coupe, an LS flagship sedan or an LX SUV. You can even choose the battery-electric UX 300e, or the brand’s first PHEV, the NX 450h+.

Lexus On Demand also enables members flying interstate to book a collection at Qantas valet in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth airports, or on trips to Auckland and Queenstown in New Zealand.

Encore Platinum members are eligible for complimentary valet parking at participating Westfield shopping centres nationwide, or Chadstone shopping centre in Melbourne too.

These upgrades are in addition to the benefits of Lexus Encore, which offers an expansive array of luxurious event experiences for up to three years to everyone who purchases a new Lexus.

Like every RX, the Crafted editions have an impressive array of standard features, including LED headlights, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 12.3-inch touchscreen display, and wireless smartphone charging.

A full suite of Lexus Safety Sense+ active safety technologies are also included. Ten exterior colours are available, including Sonic Chrome, Sonic Iridium, Glacial Ecru, Khaki Metal, Sonic Quartz, Titanium, Onyx, Graphite Black, Vermillion and Deep Blue.

The 2022 Lexus RX Crafted Edition is priced at $77,075 plus on-roads for the RX 300 and $86,495 plus on-roads for the RX 350. More information is available from your local Lexus dealer.
