A 1.6-litre turbocharged four cylinder boasting 125kW of power and 250Nm of torque, the debut of auto vehicle hold, and a new feature packed STi Sport variant will provide the cornerstones to the significantly improved 2018 Subaru Levorg wagon range.
The all-wheel-drive lineup gets a revised front bumper and grille, smart rear view mirror, front view monitor, dusk sensing steering responsive headlights, rain sensing front windscreen wipers, and a larger LCD display.
The mid level GT-S and STi Sport models gain suspension enhancements and new 18-inch alloy wheels, while the STi Sport adds a suite of factory-fitted Subaru Tecnica International accessories and styling additions, including maroon leather-trim seats and the option of the signature WR Blue colour.
“Levorg has opened up a whole new performance niche for Subaru since we launched just over a year ago,” Subaru Australia managing director Colin Christie said. “We can now see even greater opportunity with the addition of two 1.6-litre turbo variants that will make this fun, flexible wagon available to an even greater cross-section of customers.”
Pricing starts at $35,990 plus on-roads for the Levorg 1.6 GT, while the Premium edition will hit the road at $42,890. The GT-S will set you back $49,140, and the STi Sport a cool $51,990. The Levorg range also has an independent five-star rating for occupant safety from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP).
A new Storm Grey Metallic has been added to the colour range, which also includes Crystal White Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic, Crystal Black Silica, Pure Red, and Lapis Blue Pearl, with WR Blue available as exclusive to the STi Sport model.
