LDV MIFA confirmed for November launch

Stylish, spacious and technologically advanced, the 2023 LDV MIFA has been confirmed to land in Australia this November. A people mover for the next generation, it’s set to shake up its segment thanks to its sleek exterior styling, safety and technology features.

With room for every passenger to travel in comfort and style no matter how far the journey, the MIFA will be available in three trim levels – Mode, Executive and Luxe..

“The new LDV MIFA is a glimpse into the future,” LDV general manager Dinesh Chinappa said.

“Every new MIFA model will come with a significant level of standard safety equipment, convenient features, fuel-efficient powertrain and more for hard-working Australian families.”

With its bold face framed by daytime running lights, a wide stance and distinctive LED rear light signature, the MIFA redefines what people movers should look like. It’s powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which delivers 160kW and 360Nm.

That’s paired with a super-smooth Aisin 8-speed automatic gearbox.

“While it might not share the heart of its electric sibling, the MIFA 9, it does share the fundamentals of evolutionary design, passenger comfort, safety and more,” Dinesh added.

“It has advanced the people mover game significantly and we’re looking forward to redefining the segment that has, until now, been dominated by two brands.”

Inside, comfort is a priority. Depending on variant, there is a choice of seven or eight luxurious seats including six-way electrically adjustable Captain’s Chairs in the first and second row, which can be configured for ease of access.

Footrests and fold-out tray tables allow passengers to travel business class every day. Safety continues to be a vital mainstay of every new LDV model and the new MIFA is no exception.

MIFA models come packed with safety features including the following as standard: front and rear autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, rear collision warning, lane departure warning and speed assist system.

Full details on the new LDV MIFA, including specifications and pricing, will be available in mid-November.
