Kia reveals Niro electric crossover

IT’S got a 380km range, looks super eye-catching, and is designed to be crossover utility vehicle – that’s a CUV for the uninitiated – and more importantly, it’s a fully electric vehicle from Korean car maker Kia.

The Niro EV was unveiled this morning at the 2018 Busan International Motor Show in Korea and is a fairly unique concept, loaded with practicality, new technology, new safety features and a stand-out interior and exterior.

It’s biggest feature is the long range, more than many other electric vehicles on similar platforms, and follows on from the success of the Soul EV, Kia’s first global electric vehicle offering.

Following the Busan Motor Show, where Kia also showcased the SP Concept large SUV and the Kia Stinger GT Wide Body (pictured below), the Niro EV will go on sale in Korea during the second half of 2018, and will be introduced to other markets in due course.
