KAWASAKI will mark 50 years of their iconic Z nameplate with four special edition motorcycles, with the super-naked Z900 and Z650, and retro sports Z900RS and Z650RS all receiving the anniversary treatment.
Z models are known for next level technology, sporty performance, and everyday versatility, representing the ultimate in the Kawasaki range. The iconic moniker has a rich history and this year marks its golden jubilee.
The 50th Anniversary limited edition variants kick off off with the Z650, known as Red Zed, a super-naked learner approved motorcycle. Featuring a special Firecracker Red paint scheme and graphics matched to red wheels, it certainly stands out
It also scores a gloss black frame finish, special textured leather seat, an anniversary book and Z 50th anniversary emblems and logos. And then there’s the outstanding Z900 super-naked, with Heritage Red paint, special graphics and red wheels.
The Z900 scores all the same additions as the Z650, but also gets gold finished outer fork tubes.

Kawasaki have also applied the 50th anniversary Z treatment to the Z650RS, affectionally known as the Incandescent. The learner approved retro sports bike gains heritage two-tone Candy Diamond Brown and Orange paint work.
This special edition paintwork is matched to gold rims. There is a black gloss frame, textured seat with contrast stitching, chrome passenger grab rail, chrome headlight and meter trim rings, an anniversary book, logos and emblems.
Rounding out the quartet is the Z900RS Fireball, which scores all the same special edition niceties as the Z650RS, but with all the power of a 900cc retro-sport motorcycle.
Kawasaki’s 50th anniversary Z models are expected to arrive in Australia late in quarter one of 2022. Pricing will be confirmed closer to launch. For further information please contact your local Kawasaki dealer.
