Jeep reaches for Summit with new Grand Cherokee

IT’S the most luxurious Grand Cherokee to date. Blending distinctive exterior styling and premium interior appointments, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit offers a unique new look for potential buyers.

A more refined front fascia, with LED fog lights, and a restyled rear fascia with sporty dual trapezoidal exhaust tips, make the Summit stand out from the crowd, with body coloured side sill cladding, wheel arches, mirror caps and door handles completing the look.

The sports styling of the Grand Cherokee Summit includes the Platinum package, which adds a platinum chrome and gloss black Jeep seven-slot grille, 20-inch alloy wheels (in platinum chrome), and platinum chrome roof rails and badging.

It also offers class leading 3.5-tonne braked towing capacity and standard Quadra-Lift air suspension, and is powered by a fuel efficient EcoDiesel 3.0-litre V6 engine, with AdBlue.

Cockpit enhancements also include a beautiful suede like premium headliner, luxury berber cargo mats and floor mats, and illuminated ‘SUMMIT’ door sill plates. High grade ‘NaturaPlus’ leather seats add superior breath-ability for the diverse Australian climate.

Customers can option the Signature leather-wrapped interior package too, which adds ultra-premium ‘Laguna’ quilted leather seats with detailed contrast stitching, and leather-wrapped upper and lower door panels, centre console and glove box.

A Harman Kardon premium sound system finishes the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit offering, with a 10-inch sub-woofer and 19 high performance speakers located around the cabin to deliver an immersive surround sound experience.

Acoustic rear windscreen and second row door glass enhances the active noise cancellation technology from the audio package, reducing outside noise inside the cabin by up to 10dB.

An advanced driver assistance system that includes forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring and active cruise control ensures the limited edition Jeep has a 5-star ANCAP safety rating.

The 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit starts from $84,450 plus on-roads, and is available now.

Mick is a car fanatic, with petrol pumping through his veins. With a deep love for cars, and what makes them tick, Mick likes things that go fast, very fast. But he also appreciates a Sunday cruise in the Rolls...... who are we kidding, he'd drive the wheels off that too.
