JAC expands T9 range with cab-chassis and new trims

JAC Motors is expanding the T9 dual-cab 4X4 ute range with the introduction of four new variants. The list includes the Tradepro and Oasis cab-chassis, both of which feature an 1,165kg payload capacity (excluding tray).

These are joined by the T9 Osprey and Osprey X, which build on the Haven and add lifestyle features like a power sunroof, and a premium suspension tune. The latter’s street presence is further enhanced with a unique black exterior styling package.

It includes JAC front grille badge and inserts, alloy wheels, roof bars, wing mirrors, door handles and side-vent surrounds. Both have been strategically engineered with a 980kg payload to sit under the one-tonne novated leasing ceiling as well.

“The success of our T9 Dual-Cab 4X4 has shown that Australians appreciate the combination of safety, capability, reliability, and great value that JAC delivers,” JAC Motors Australia managing directo Ahmed Mahmoud said.

“These four fantastic new T9 family members expand the T9’s appeal for customers with specific requirements – whether that’s the ultimate work platform or a desire for enhanced daily comfort.”

Like the rest of the JAC T9 family, the new Osprey, Osprey X, Tradepro CC and Oasis CC feature a 125kW/410Nm 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission.

The JAC T9 sports a dual-range transfer case and a locking rear differential. All models come with a seven-year unlimited kilometre warranty for both private and business owners, 24/7 roadside assistance for up to seven years and capped price servicing.

The JAC T9 Osprey, Osprey X, Tradepro CC and Oasis CC start arriving in JAC dealerships nationally from November 2025. Pricing and final specifications for the new arrivals will be
confirmed closer to that time.
