Isuzu have released details on the 2023 updates for its popular D-MAX ute range, with a new grille, fresh paints, stylish rims and functionality improvements heading the list of changes.
As part of the update, the RZ4E 1.9-litre turbo-diesel engine is now available on the SX crew cab chassis 4×2, which will be offered at $40,700, the SX crew cab 4×2 at $42,200 and SX crew cab 4×4 at $50,200 (all plus on-roads), in automatic transmission form.
Some of the good stuff includes a new towing system that automatically deactivates the parking sensors and rear cross traffic alert safety features when it detects you’ve connected a trailer.
Ute variants now feature Tailgate Assist, a dual-gas strut dampening system that takes the weight out of opening and closing the rear tailgate. Inside, the materials used on various seat trims have been updated.
The second row USB port seen on the higher trim crew cab levels is now also available on the SX crew cab range. The 2023 models will hit showrooms this December, and now features some 27 model choices.
The 4×4 cab chassis range opens with the manual SX Single Cab Chassis at $42,200 plus on-roads, and tops out with the LS-U Crew Cab Chassis 4×4 Auto (3.0-litre turbo-diesel) at $59,500 plus on-roads.
The 4×4 crew ute range opens with the SX 1.9-litre variant mentioned already, and tops out with the X-TERRAIN 4×4 Auto, which is currently offered at $64,990 drive away (normal plus on-roads price will be $67,500).
The 2023 Isuzu D-MAX range will be available in Mineral White, Basalt Black mica, Neptune Blue mica, Mercury Silver metallic, Obsidian Grey mica, no matter the specification. The X-TERRAIN scores Granite Grey metallic and Volcanic Amber metallic exclusively.
Likewise, Moonstone White Pearl and Magnetic Red mica are exclusive to the LS-U, LS-U+ and X-TERRAIN. To find out more, talk to your local Isuzu Ute dealer. If you’re keen on one, and need finance, check out CreditOne.
