Back by popular demand, Isuzu Ute Australia is reintroducing the D-MAX Tour Mate special edition. Available from today (1 August), the LS-U and LS-U+ offerings add more than $6,000 extra value to Australia’s third-bestselling ute.
With motorists gravitating to the D-MAX for its payload and towing capability, as well as a vehicle that is easily customised and accessorised to suit specific uses and requirements, the Tour Mate is a revitalised badge, returning for the first time since 2019.
The package includes a tow bar tongue and 50mm ball, 12-pin wiring harness, electric brake controller, Clearview extendable heated and power-fold compact towing mirrors, a canopy with dual lift-up side windows, and slimline weather shields.
Unique badging completes the Tour Mate, with the LS-U version priced at $69,990 drive away, and the LS-U+ priced from $72,990 drive away.
“The reintroduction of the D-MAX Tour Mate not only adds convenience by simplifying the accessory selection process, but it also offers customers unmatched value for money,” Isuzu UTE Australia’s deputy managing director Koichiro Yoshida said.
With the recently launched D-MAX a popular choice among motorists that tow and haul heavy loads, the additional 85kg of accessories make little difference to the payload capacity, providing 910kg and 905kg for the respective variants.
The included canopy features uncompromised storage security with shared locks across both dual lift-up side windows and rear window, a dual layer ABS shell, tinted windows all round and LED internal lighting.
All D-MAX variants are backed by a comprehensive Service Plus customer care program, encompassing 5-year flat price servicing, a 6-year or 150,000km warranty, and up to seven-years of roadside assistance.
