THE US arm of Korean car maker Hyundai has revealed the future direction of its high end model options, following the unveiling of the Vision G Concept Coupe at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) late yesterday.
Powered by the award winning 5.0 litre V8 Tau motor, producing 312kW of power and 519Nm of torque, the Vision G features bold exterior styling, defined by a long hood, high belt line and a cabin that presents a slingshot-like appearance.
A global project, the fluid styling is a nod to the US design team, and is meant to give the impression of respectful luxury, with a focus on the driver, rather than the spectator. It features new technology that includes automatically opening doors.
Vision G will be shown at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this Sunday (16 August) in Monterey, California.
