AHEAD of its world premiere in February and its first public display at the Geneva Motor Show in early March, Hyundai has teased details of its new Santa Fe.
To be launched in Australia mid-2018, renders of the new fourth generation Santa Fe highlight a luxurious and striking design, based on its robust, stylish and voluminous composition, which reflects Hyundai’s new SUV design identity.
The exterior rendering introduces a large cascading grille complimented by a separate headlight system featuring divided daytime running lights (DRLs) and main lamps. Combined they create a unique, futuristic look.
The vehicle looks set to feature a simple yet sleek roof line and the side character line running from the headlights to the taillights merge to form a harmonious look and feel.
The rear section features both a confident and stable stance with unique taillights, dual mufflers, and a voluminous bumper design.
The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is also expected to offer a comprehensive package of Hyundai’s latest active safety features under the Smart Sense technology umbrella.
The innovative and industry-first Rear Occupant Alert monitors the rear seats to detect passengers and alerts the driver when leaving the car.
The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning is now enhanced by an automated braking function. To avoid the risk of collision when reversing out of narrow areas with limited visibility, the system warns the driver and applies the brakes automatically.
More details of the new generation four Santa Fe will be revealed ahead of its February launch.
