Honda’s 2026 CB1000GT will be available in Australian dealerships later this year, with expressions of interest now open for the bike that was first revealed at the 2025 EICMA motorcycle show.
Set to redefine the sports touring category, it combines Fireblade-level performance with long-distance capability. Designed for riders who crave the thrill of a sports bike but want to go further, the CB1000GT delivers a unique blend of excitement, comfort and versatility.
Powered by a 1,000cc 4-cylinder engine derived from the CBR1000RR Fireblade, the CB1000GT produces 110kW of power and 102Nm of torque and has been optimised to suit sports touring.
That’s been achieved by smoothing power output, especially when opening the throttle, reducing fatigue and improving comfort over long rides. Refined fuel injection and Honda’s throttle-by-wire system deliver accessible performance across the rev range too.
The CB1000GT is equipped with electronically equipped ride adjustment (EERA) suspension, cornering ABS and a premium braking package to deliver outstanding confidence and handling.
At just 229kg (excluding panniers), its narrow profile, intelligent weight distribution and refined chassis geometry provide agile, sporty handling while maintaining the stability expected of a capable touring motorcycle.
Built to cover serious kilometres straight from the showroom, the CB1000GT comes standard with detachable panniers, cruise control, heated grips, hand guards, a centre stand and a five-position adjustable windscreen.
A five-inch TFT screen display with Honda RoadSync offers smartphone connectivity, with integrated navigation and USB-C charging. The 2026 Honda CB1000GT will be available in Grand Prix Red.
