Highly anticipated LBX Morizo RR arrives in Australia

Just as the first Lexus LBX altered perceptions on how much luxury and refinement could be packaged into a stylish compact SUV, the Morizo RR reimagines the combination of sophistication and performance in the space.

Powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged inline three-cylinder petrol engine producing 206kW and 390Nm, the Morizo RR (so named because Lexus global chairman Akio Toyoda would have one in his garage) accelerates from zero to 100km/h in 5.2 seconds.

Its all-wheel drive system automatically distributes the front-rear torque according to road conditions and grip, with the standard Torsen limited-slip differential on the rear axle adding to the driving thrills.

Impressive stopping comes from aluminium monobloc four-piston callipers, matched to 356mm x 28mm two-piece ventilated discs at the front, with floating single-piston calipers and 281mm x 12mm solid discs at the rear.

Combined with elegance and comfort, the result is a limited edition, small luxury car with the impeccable manners of a perfect dinner host and precision power and performance of a judo master.

Inside the 2025 Lexus LBX Morizo RR

Priced at $76,490 or $78,240 (both plus on-roads) if you opt for an additionally exclusive two-tone paint scheme, it builds on the specs of the lower models in the range. That kicks off with the Luxury 2WD ($47,550 plus on-roads).

The base model features LED headlamps with adaptive high-beam, 18-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler and privacy glass. The Sports Luxury – offered in both 2WD and AWD – adds touch-sensitive steering wheel controls and Lexus teammate advanced park.

It also sports a 13-speaker Mark Levinson premium audio system. The Morizo RR takes performance-inspired styling to the next level with exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels, along with aerodynamic upgrades including a new front bumper and vertical fins on the rear.

Inside brings signature Takumi craftsmanship with high quality materials, superb fit and finish and unique sporting character, with black leather-accented sports front seats, shift knob and dimpled steering wheel, all with contrast red stitching.

Vitals are displayed through a central 12.3-inch touchscreen which is tailorable for performance outputs, as well as being tasked with all the usual infotainment functions you might expect.

More information is available from your local Lexus dealership or by visiting their website.
