IT’S always nice to get more for the same price and SUV specialist HAVAL has delivered a bit of an Easter present to Australian buyers, with the launch of the upgraded 2019 H9.
The accomplished 7 seat 4WD SUV gains autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and lane departure warning.
All these safety features are now standard across the HAVAL H9 4WD range. But the best bit is that the price stays the same, at $41,990 for the H9 LUX and the top of the range ULTRA at $45,990 – both driveaway.
The HAVAL H9 is driven by a turbo petrol engine generating 180Kw/350Nm matched to an 8-speed German engineered ZF transmission running a Borg Warner Torque on Demand transfer system.
In addition to the new safety features, HAVAL continues to offer a host of standard features on the H9 LUX including tri-zone air conditioning, rain sensing sunroof, auto Xenon headlamps and wipers, electro chromatic rear view mirror, rear camera, park guidance, all terrain control and HAVAL’s unique laser puddle lights.
The H9 ULTRA model adds heated and ventilated massaging front seats, a rain sensing panoramic sunroof, a 10 speaker INFINITY sound system, heated steering wheel, Comfort-Tec seating, electric folding third row seat and adaptive front lighting that “looks” around corners.
HAVAL have also made their 7 year unlimited km warranty and 5 year national roadside assistance through the Australian Motoring Clubs standard across the entire range.
“Instead of the traditional approach of charging more for safety and luxury features, HAVAL is making them standard and at the same price” said Mr. Peter Mercuri – General Sales Manager of HAVAL Motors Australia.
