IT’S officially the cheapest 5-star ANCAP safety rated 4-cylinder turbo SUV on the market in Australia. And yes, those are some fairly narrow terms HAVAL is using to slide into, to make that claim. But it is $19,990 drive-away.
The new HAVAL H2 MT is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo engine, and comes with Bluetooth, cruise control, reverse parking sensors, 18-inch alloy wheels, a spacious cabin, and auto park brake.
It also has tyre pressuring monitoring, front, side and curtain airbags and a 6-speed manual transmission. If you buy one before year-end, you’ll also get a 7-year unlimited kilometre warranty.
The HAVAL H2 SUV range is priced from $19,990 for the H2 MT, $22,990 for the H2 Premium and $26,990 for the H2 LUX. The Premium and LUX only come in automatic and all prices are drive-away.
Every HAVAL features a suite of active and passive safety features to help avoid the risk of a collision and provide maximum protection.
Safety starts with a strong core body structure and HAVAL extensively uses high tensile steel with built in safety crumple zones to help absorb the energy generated in a collision and redirect it safely away from occupants.
HAVAL is a specialist manufacturer of premium SUVs and has been the leading SUV brand in the world’s largest automotive market, China, for the past 15 years – with more than 5 million owners. They are owned by Great Wall Motors.
Their other models include the mid-sized H6 SUV and the 7-seat premium H9 SUV.
