GM ANZ introduces 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

General Motors Australia and New Zealand has announced pricing and specs for the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, confirming the highly-customisable, track-bred, naturally aspirated monster is headed down under.

Powered by a hand-assembled LT6 5.5-litre V8, the Z06 delivers 475kW and an 8,600rpm redline, combining its high-revving performance with a new three-screen cockpit and expanded performance tech – including Chevrolet Connected Services.

The announcement follows the launch of the 2026 Corvette Stingray and E-Ray, as well as the limited-run 2026 Corvette Z06 Bathurst 12 Hour Special Edition. The 2027 Corvette Z06 3LZ Coupe is priced at $299,990 plus on-roads.

It will be offered exclusively through a build-to-order model, with every vehicle created to a confirmed customer specification. Customers can personalise their Z06 with new exterior colours, forged wheel designs and carbon-fibre elements.

Racing stripes and the Z07 Performance Package can also be added. Ten exterior colours, including three new exterior options: Pitch Grey Metallic, Admiral Blue Metallic and Roswell Green Metallic are available.

The Z07 add-on includes a carbon-fibre high swing rear spoiler, performance suspension, upgraded brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tyres, LED engine lighting and Brembo performance carbon ceramic brakes.

Other standard equipment includes GT2 bucket seats with Napa leather upholstery and carbon-fibre garnish, sueded microfibre upper interior trim and carbon-fibre steering wheel detailing and paddles.

A head-up display, Bose 14-speaker audio system, front lift with memory, a performance data recorder, a removable roof and a soft close ‘frunk’ are included. Inside, you’ll also find a 14.1-inch driver information centre and 12.7-inch infotainment display.

A 6.6-inch auxiliary touchscreen positioned to the right of the steering wheel, wireless charging, Google Maps built-in, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. Orders are open from today, 1 October 2026.

Production is scheduled to commence at GM’s Bowling Green assembly plant in January 2027. Delivery timing will depend on individual vehicle specifications. To find out more, visit your local GMSV dealership.
