ITALIAN car maker Maserati has added the limited edition Ghibli Sport to its Australian model range, with the 257kW twin turbo V6 sports saloon hitting the showroom floor at a drive away price of $149,990.
The price is significant, a limited time $16,000 drop on RRP, so too the fact that just 60 models of the Ferrari powered sedan will be available for purchase.
The Ghibli Sport adds the Maserati Carbon Pack to the standard model, and includes carbon fibre trim to the door mirrors, B-pillar, door handles and adds a carbon fibre lip spoiler to the boot.
Inside, the Ghibli Sport features full leather sports seats for the driver and front seat passenger as well as extended leather throughout the interior. The driver of the Ghibli Sport has the benefit of a leather trimmed sports steering wheel and Inox sports pedals, while outside, dual cast braking provides a new level of stopping power.
The eight speed auto gearbox that comes standard with the Ghibli Sport helps push a zero-100km/h time of 5.5 seconds, with a top speed of 267km/h and estimated combined fuel consumption of 8.9l/100km.
