THE gun sporty turbo charged version of Subaru’s all-wheel drive is set to bolt out the door when it hits showrooms in June, and could well become one of the first collectible SUVs (with just 300 available in Australia).
Designated the tS, and teased late last year, the sub-$55,000 hot SUV will feature STi badging, big Brembo brakes, and a host of STi add-ons including Enkei 19-inch alloy wheels, flexible stiffeners and bars, a wicked front spoiler and full STi running gear.
Inside there’s a host of STi branding and colour combos as well, along with leather and seude red trimmed seats, red lighting, STi instrumentation and the uber-cool STi red push button starter.
Available in three colours; Crystal White Pearl, Crystal Black Silica or WR Blue, each with black interior trim, the Forester tS will drive out of show rooms at a list price of $54,990.
