Ford brings back Ranger Wildtrak X

Following its success in 2023, Ford has brought back its Wildtrak X, featuring an array of off road improvements. The limited run special edition sports a flexible rack system and unique Bilstein position-sensitive dampers.

Just 750 examples of the $77,640 (plus on-roads) offering will be available. The previous Cyber Orange colour choice has been replaced by the addition of Luxe Yellow and Blue Lightning.

That’s alongside previous optional hues Shadow Black, Meteor Grey, and Aluminium. Arctic White remains the standard choice. New for 2025 is the addition of a 400W power inverter in the rear console and tray, along with pro trailer backup assist.

Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine boasting 150kW and 500Nm outputs, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4WD ability, the Wildtrak X retains the ute’s 3,500kg braked towing capacity.

Available to order through your local Ford dealership (or online), it comes with Asphalt Black machine-faced 17-inch alloy wheels with LT265/70R17 General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tyres, and a 30mm wheel track increase.

A 26mm ground clearance increase and heavy duty electronically power assisted steering gear with shielding are included, along with an off road grille with auxiliary high beam LEDs, combined with Matrix LED headlamps.

A front steel bash plate, heavy duty side steps and model specific badging all feature, along with a 12.4-inch colour digital instrument cluster, a B&O premium audio system, embroidered leather accented seats and Terra suede trim.

The 2025 Ford Ranger Wildtrak X also comes with trail turn assist, trail control and rock crawl mode, as well as all of the standard features found across the standard range.
