Falco Lennox 2 Boots (product review)

We have always been a little curious about the practicality and functionality of casual style motorcycle boots. With that in mind we’ve pulled on a set of prime examples in the form of the Lennox 2 from Italian manufacturer Falco.

A brand steeped in history, with a passion for quality craftsmanship, their Lennox 2 boots are the perfect go-anywhere foot covering that you can wear on the bike, out to dinner, in and out of meetings, or wherever takes your fancy.

Comfort is on-point, as is the quality (mirroring the brand’s own persona) of the Falco Lennox 2. Ticking all the boxes, our black test subjects not only look the goods, but are definitely suitable enough for everyday wear.

We will admit we spied a very nice looking grey and tan offering in these particularly boots and were hoping we’d secure those for the product test. That was until we learned Australia’s deep love for black boots, since nine out of every ten pairs are that colour.

Black it is then. To be fair, they look pretty mint when you open the box. Falco Lennox 2 boots are constructed utilising a full-grain embossed upper and air-tech ventilated liner. The latter ensures air flow when riding, especially when your feet are in the wind.

There are also protective D30 reinforced ankle cups, a raised inner sole and high grip rubber sole to keep your feet safe. We were wondering whether the latter meant the boot would be slippery when planting your feet on the ground.

We’re pleased to say the Lennox 2 stood up to the test, with no slippage when stopping on the road. The other thing that had us intrigued was how we would go if we scraped them while cornering. Tested on our Honda Hornet long termer, they stood up to that too.

A zipper and laces provide a great combination to secure them to your feet, with the former standing the test of time thus far. It’s sturdy and to date, faultless. Fit is good, and the boot is comfortable both on and off the bike.

Locally, the Falco Lennox 2 boot is available in Black or Army (green) and offered in both men’s and ladies, in a range of sizes. As always, we recommend shopping around but the RRP on these bad boys is $259.95 on the official Falco website.

The Falco Lennox 2 represents a great urban option for riders looking for the versatility of a functional motorbike boot and the fashion of what we used to call gym or basketball boots. Visit your local Falco stockist to find out more.

Our test product was provided by Falco Boots. Exhaust Notes Australia has not been paid to review this product.

Pros – comfortable; great looking boot; functional.

Cons – limited colour choices locally; black definitely shows up the dirt.
