JUST six of the 750 examples of the wickedly cool 2020 BMW M4 Edition ///M Heritage will make it to Australia, with confirmation today from the German car maker they’re on their way in Laguna Seca Blue, Velvet Blue metallic and Imola Red II.
The Heritage model features bespoke interior and exterior elements including carbon-fibre trim crafted with BMW M colours, with the limited edition M4 to be powered by the BMW M4 Competition engine, which produces 331kW and 550Nm of torque.
The 3.0-litre TwinPower turbocharged 6-cylinder petrol power plant offers fuel economy of 8.8-litres/100km, with the high performance coupe able to go from launch to 100km/h in an incredible 4.0 seconds.
It will be available in three editions, with Edition 1 featuring BMW Individual Laguna Seca Blue exterior paint. It’s matched to full leather ‘Merino’ upholstery in bi-colour Silverstone and Black with contrast stitching in turquoise.
Edition 2 comes in Velvet Blue metallic, with the same interior and contrast stitching in velvet blue and orange.
Edition 3 showcases striking Imola Red II paintwork and an eye-catching full leather ‘Merino’ interior in bi-colour Red and Black with contrast stitching in Red and Yellow.
Each car is fitted with a BMW M carbon roof with a decorative strip in BMW M highlights and all BMW M4 Edition ///M Heritage examples feature forged 20-inch M star spoke light alloy wheels, finished in Orbit Grey.
‘Edition ///M Heritage 1/750’ lettering can be found on the interior carbon fibre re-enforced plastic trim and door sills, with ‘Edition ///M Heritage’ embroidered into the headrests.
Wireless charging for smartphones is also a welcome edition to the limited edition model, which hits the road at $167,529 plus on-roads. The six examples of this special BMW M4 should arrive early next year.
