The Everything Electric show returned to Sydney for a third year this weekend (March 7-9), evolving from a pure car event to include a growing number of household solutions and energy saving technologies.
Exhaust Notes Australia was on-hand for a special sneak peek of the 2025 line-up as well as getting access to a series of special vehicle unveilings. First stop in our guided tour was the Farizon stand.
A fully electric light truck and commercial van, the SV (SuperVan) features built-in safety tech that’s commonplace in most new cars but still yet to make its way into the commercial space. That includes a real-time weight indicator and versatility for carrying loads.
NSW Central Coast innovators Janus Electric had a display showing the ease of replacing a battery in an electrically converted prime mover. For home owners, Red Earth showcased their range of hybrid energy storage systems for both homes and vehicles.

For travellers, Skywheel had a range of portable/mobile electric suitcases to try out, while the Electric Vehicle Council unveiled their new app. The show also stepped across into the marine space, with displays from Carbon Yachts and Candela.
The latter is a luxurious hydrofoil created in partnership with Polestar. For those who enjoy two-wheeled transport, NZ based FTN Motion marked their launch in Australia with a stand for their Streetdog range of electric motorbikes.
Segway had a large stand featuring self-balancing Ninebots, scooters, motorbikes and a go kart that can not only play outside, but connect up to your gaming system as a racing simulator. Melbourne’s Savic Motorcycles were also in attendance.
There were plenty of car brands too, including newcomers Skyworth, taking the covers off their BE11 mid-sized SUV, which starts from $48,990 plus on-roads. Volkswagen showcased the ID.Buzz, ID.4 Pro and ID.5 GTX.

Joining them was Audi, unveiling the new S6 Sportback e-tron, a 400+kW car with a drag coefficient of 0.21 and a 0-100km/h sprint time of 3.9 seconds. Skoda revealed the Elroq SUV alongside its Enyaq, while Cupra presented its new Tavascan.
Zeekr wowed with their already released X and 009 models, as well debuting the highly anticipated 7X SUV and 007 sports sedan, the funky MIX van with rotating seats, sliding doors and detachable torches, and the mean and sporty 001FR.
Deepal, who recently confirmed it will fix issues on its S07 via over-the-air updates, showed off its smaller S05 SUV and the E07, a versatile SUV with ute-like features. Fellow Chinese car maker XPeng had their G6 and X9 on display.
Their X2 “flying car” and Mona M03 electric sedan made their debut. Ford showcased the Mustang Mach-E and Ranger PHEV, while Tesla made their first ever Everything Electric appearance with the new Model Y Juniper, a Powerwall solution, and the Cybertruck.
A raft of other brands included Leapmotor, Geely, GWM and MG, along with Cadillac, BYD and Kia. Visitors also had the opportunity to take some vehicles for a test drive on a specially created drive program.
Everything Electric is set to return to Australia in mid-November of this year, with a show in Melbourne.
